The people behind Ascentia Forge.

Jatin Pal · Founder

Ascentia Forge is run by Jatin Pal, a developer drawn to the unglamorous problems most people would rather avoid. He builds the software that quietly keeps clinics, shops and finance teams moving, the kind that only gets noticed when it stops. Six of those systems are in daily use now, across three industries.

He started the studio after one too many jobs that began the same way. A clinic opening three apps to see one patient. A shop counting stock by hand. A finance team rekeying the same figures all month, every month. The fix is usually less clever than people expect: a framework-free stack, charts drawn by hand, and code that still runs on the machines a client already owns.

He keeps the studio small and takes on a few projects at a time, so the person writing the code is the one who answers the phone. He'd rather understand how your business runs than sell you something, and he'll tell you when software isn't the answer.

  • Built for the person who uses it eight hours a day, not the buyer in the demo.
  • It has to stay fast on slow machines and survive the messy real data, not the sample set.
  • No framework debt. You own the source, and it's still readable five years on.
  • Someone is still on the line after launch — for the fixes, the training, the odd question at 9pm.

In short

You talk to the people writing the code.

No account managers, no junior hand-off, no framework churn that breaks in two years. You work with whoever is actually building the thing. And when it ships, the code is written to be read and changed by a normal developer later — including one who isn't us.
